BPing has been created with one thing in mind and that is people who crawl under the desk, messing with network cable and popping their heads up every now and again to see if the computer actually connects to something. The application sends out pings constantly and it beeps each time it receives an answer. It may sound trivial, but when you're on your knees under the desk, connecting cables, you will thank the stars that something is there, making a sound to let you know a connection has been established. Of course, the application comes with other useful functions as well.

The application is absolutely free and you can have it up and running in no time, since it doesn't need to be installed. You don't have to meet any kind of requirements and its effects on your computer's performance are practically inexistent.

When you run BPing, it will start pinging Google right away. The replies are displayed on a command prompt, as if you submitted a normal ping command. In fact the application works very much like the default ping command, but it also makes sounds and it pings continuously until you close the window or hit the CTRL+Pause keys.

Pinging Google is not everything the application can do. If you place its executable in the Windows folder, you will be able to run the ping command with some paramters. For starters, you can ping a site of your choice. Additionally, you can scan your network and ping a specific host. There are various commands to issue. All you have to do is type "bping" instead of "ping", followed by a letter. If you type "bping -h", you will get a list of helpful tips.

With BPing on your computer, you will be able to do much more besides pinging a host.

Pros

The application pings and beeps constantly until you stop it. You can issue ping commands with various parameters.

Cons

There are no issues to address.
